Students are identified as GATE (Gifted and Talented) at the beginning of grade 4.  

A differentiated curriculum model is in place for all students. Poinsettia offers Art, Science, Music, and PE as enrichment programs.  PTA also funds multiple field trips for all grade levels to provide a rich curriculum for all learners.
