Poinsettia Test Scores

The staff at Poinsettia Elementary is so proud to share the success of our students last year.  The Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) from the California Department of Education was released, and Poinsettia met 25 of the 25 AYP criteria – showing growth in all areas and with all populations of students.  In addition, Poinsettia’s Academic Performance Index (API) rose 14 points!  This was the largest growth across the district and at a time when API scores across the state are trending down.  Great job students, teachers, and parents! Keep up the amazing work!
