IntroductionPoinsettia Elementary

Poinsettia Elementary is a kindergarten through fifth grade public school that serves the southern inland population of Carlsbad Unified School District. The school opened in 2007 and has approximately 550 students and 30 teachers & support staff combined.

Our experienced fully credentialed teachers are highly regarded among their peers and have high standards for their students. We have embraced the Common Core State Standards for our core academic subjects. In addition, our school is proud to offer a wide variety of weekly enrichment programs and resources including - music, visual arts, physical education, STEM, library, student clubs, and more.  

Since our opening, we have quickly become an important part of the local community. Our parents are very involved in the classroom and through the PTA. Together we have many proud accomplishments!
